Resilience Rises From The River Art's District After Hurricane Helene
Resilience isn't just about surviving the storm, it's what you create from the wreckage. A 2025 Burning Man Art Installation

Resilience isn't just about surviving the storm, it's what you create from the wreckage. A 2025 Burning Man Art Installation
Resilience transforms wreckage into renewal. Through salvaged materials, Hurricane Helene-damaged art, and vibrant Appalachian murals, we create a space for reflection, protection, and community healing. We honor the enduring spirit of artists affected by disaster—especially in Asheville and the River Arts District—celebrating the power of creativity to rebuild, reconnect, and rise again. Your donation helps us build the installation, transport it to Black Rock City, as and official Burning Man Art Installation, and uplift River Arts District and other Appalachian artists whose work has weathered the storm. Every dollar brings us one step closer to telling this powerful story of Hurricane Helene and the Burners that Saved Asheville.
Want a front-row seat to the journey? Our newsletter brings you behind the scenes of the Resilience project—from build updates and featured artists to upcoming events and ways to get involved. Be the first to know when we hit the road, light up the playa, or bring the gallery home. No spam—just stories of art, community, and the power of rebuilding
